       I suppose not everybody can have the most easily recognisable
       and BEST rugby shirt in the world.....

       having a recognisable shirt i am not entirely certain helps with
       colour blindness, the condition has a broad spectrum of
       different ways it affects people. some people will only see
       quins wearing a dark colour for example so makes no different to
       them with quarters, others will be ok, it depends how the
       condition affects them.

       As someone who has colour blindness, I welcome anything that
       helps. Mine is not too severe, but there is a good demonstration
       of types of colour blindness here:

       I generally prefer teams to wear their first choice shirts, but
       some thought is needed.  Around 8% of the male population (fewer
       women) have some form of colour blindness.  I have a relative
       who doesn't bother to watch some games as they're pretty much
       impenetrable to him.
       Here's a couple of examples of how some games can look to people
       who are colour blind:

       Shockingly, being colorblind has its advantages. The University
       of Edinburgh discovered that individuals with red-green
       colorblindness are better at seeing camouflage. Color can
       actually impede our ability to detect patterns and textures and
       one can detect shapes better when the room is darkened
