You might need to change the panel. Remember Ross Kemp has
played a fair bit of rugby in his time. He might actually know
something about the game.

Being hit in the head is not grounds for an HIA on its own. He
didn't go down or look stunned or do anything to suggest he had
suffered a brain injury.

I very rarely disagree with you Jammy because you are usually
bang on it. On this subject I think it is that attitude that a
doctor from 50 yards away can tell if an HIA is needed is,
simply, wrong. They often cannot tell from 5 inches away.
Whatever happened to that saliva test for concussion?

What about the chips in the gumshield? Is that data that's
collected and analysed later, or is it something that's
transmitted in real time?

Sorry, but (for once 😁) you need to check the
regulations. Any potential concussion incident needs an HIA
because you can't tell just by looking at the player, as deadly
said. I'm not convinced the regulations are applied properly but
...
