Agreed, he was in a position to catch the ball and was looking
at in when Brown jumped into him.
That’s how it looked to me anyway, and it seems that the
officials came to a similar conclusion.
It wouldn’t have surprised me if it has been given though. Those
often are. Not sure how the TMO could say that he was nowhere
near being able to catch it though.

Very scrappy game so far, though our backs have looked very good
when they've been able to hang on to the ball

I don’t think it was malicious, but it was an arm to the head.
Too upright in the tackle. In real time it didn’t look too bad
to me, but the replay was quite clear.
