VR would be a great signing actually. Him and Andre really could
be a lethal combo, and playing 12 and 13 is a huge bonus.

If they remain I wouldn’t be surprised if the home fixture is
TBG, I think that could have great potential with two relatively
close fan bases.

We won't get a rebate. I don't think we got a rebate for the
Lost game previous season. We lost two matches. They put a
barbarians match on to replace one but I think we lost the
other.
I know a Baa Baas match is being put on but thays pre season and
the novelty of playing them has gone for me. Fine as a one off
but hope its not every season. A Baa Baas game does not replace
a genuinely competitive fixture

Considering six teams including the two W's had average
attendances of less than 10,000 in 22/23 and 21/22 it does seem
a bit of a silly rule in the current economic climate.

I wonder if flexible seating might be helpful here? I understand
the Health and Safety implications but no problem is
insurmountable. The speed with which they whack up scaffolding
would make it feasible depending on the oppo and the expected
crowd?

Interesting angle that the IRFU might step in to help, making LI
essentially the fifth province and therefore won't be playing in
the premiership. I think this probably would be a tall order to
make possible given the relative short time to fixtures being
sorted etc and not sure how viable it to begin with.

As long as the RFU agree, although I suppose if the choice is
that or the death of LI they'll be under some pressure.
