It is very good. He could have just folded the business. Fair
       play to him.

Do have some sympathy for the genuine LI fans but I have
experienced quite a lot of vitriol from certain sections of the
LI crowd in the past, so.......

I've never quite understood the antipathy towards Quins myself.
Some of my fellow supporters seem to forget that Quins for the
second time, gave us a berth just recently (when we were
       homeless before going to Brentford).
Anyway do yourselves proud against Tigers : you know what Quins
are capable of when you turn on the running rugby.

"One of the minimum standards criteria is that the stadium must
hold a minimum of 10,001 fans; this is to ensure the ground
falls under the remit of the Sports Grounds Safety Authority
(SGSA)" (quoted from the regulations). This allows for
regulation by the DCMS and their rule that the top league in
major sports in this country comply with. But, womens football,
womens rugby, county cricket and even London Broncos at Ealing,
       fail to need DCMS regulation.
If, as rumoured, LI move to Plough Lane, they will also fall
       under the 10k requirement.

RFU have just issued a statement giving a deadline of 30th May
for the takeover to be completed or the club will be suspended
       from all competition in 23/24.

Or alternatively, no deadline is set and something that has been
going on for months continues leaving g the rest of the league
       in limbo.

Yes because allowing Wasps and Worcester to start last season
with the inevitable hanging over them worked out terrifically
       well for everyone.
Much like HMRC in those cases, the RFU aren’t the bogeyman now
in terms of timing - the clubs, league, players need to know if
teams will be able to compete next year and if not they need
time to come up with Plan B.
