OK - an interesting graphic, but obviously it can conceal a lot
in that.

I now live in Northampton, having abandoned Teddington, what are
the season ticket prices like at Saints for a person 65+ ?
Well, if you ignore their terrace prices, it's interesting.
The cheapest season ticket is £302 (compared with £385 at
Quins).
However the top dollar prices seem to be as given, middle of the
West Stand is £824 for Saints and £1095 at Quins.
My current season ticket at Quins is £655 and at Saints would be
£696 - so that's a bit of a shock. It's because Quins discount
the bottom 4 rows because of the crowds round the gates and
further discount for age. Two rows back from me, you would be
paying £975 for a seat. How long before Quins cancel that 4 row
arrangement?
Franklins Gardens (I refuse to refer to it as the Cinch Stadium
in the same way as I never call the West Stand whatever it's
currently called) is just 7 minutes away by car instead of 1
hour 45 mins. There's lots of parking. I don't have to pay ULEZ
charge. Saints play a good running game of rugby, much like
Harlequins. Saints fans are a good crowd to be with.
Is there still time to cancel my season ticket? [emoji4]

I asked chatGPT "Which rugby club offers the best value for
money season ticket and why"
Determining which rugby club offers the best value for money
season ticket is subjective and can vary depending on individual
preferences and circumstances. However, I can provide you with
some factors to consider when evaluating the value of a season
ticket:
Ticket Price: Compare the cost of season tickets across
different rugby clubs. Take into account the number of home
matches included in the ticket package and any additional
benefits or discounts provided.
Seating Quality: Assess the quality of the seating arrangement
and facilities offered with the season ticket. Consider factors
such as seat location, comfort, and amenities like access to
lounges or hospitality areas.
Matchday Experience: Evaluate the overall matchday experience
provided by the club. This includes factors like pre-match
entertainment, halftime shows, fan engagement activities, and
the general atmosphere at the stadium.
Team Performance: Assess the performance and reputation of the
rugby club's team. A club with a successful and competitive team
is likely to offer a more exciting and enjoyable season for
their fans.
Additional Benefits: Look for any additional benefits or perks
that come with the season ticket. This could include exclusive
events, discounts on merchandise or food and beverages, priority
access to playoff or tournament tickets, or opportunities to
meet players or attend training sessions.
Fan Community: Consider the strength and camaraderie of the
club's fan community. The opportunity to connect and engage with
fellow supporters can significantly enhance the value of a
season ticket.
It's advisable to research and compare the offerings of
different rugby clubs in your area, taking into account the
above factors that align with your priorities and preferences.
Ultimately, the best value for money season ticket will depend
on what you value most as a fan.

And when I asked it about Harlequins specifically
Yes, certainly! Harlequins, based in London,
England, is another rugby club that has provided positive
experiences for their season ticket holders. As of September
2021, Harlequins had a strong fan base and offered various
benefits to their season ticket holders. Here are some reasons
why Harlequins could be considered:
Exciting Style of Play: Harlequins is known for their fast-paced
and attacking style of rugby, which often leads to entertaining
and high-scoring matches. For fans who enjoy dynamic and
thrilling rugby, Harlequins' style of play can be a significant
draw.
The Stoop Stadium: The club plays their home matches at The
Stoop, located in Twickenham, London. The Stoop has a vibrant
atmosphere and provides an excellent viewing experience for
spectators, with good sightlines and facilities.
Fan Engagement: Harlequins has been proactive in engaging with
their fans, providing opportunities for interaction and
involvement. They often organize events for season ticket
holders, such as meet-and-greets with players, exclusive
training sessions, or behind-the-scenes experiences, enhancing
the overall fan experience.
Community Spirit: Harlequins has a strong sense of community and
connection with their fan base. They actively promote
inclusivity, diversity, and grassroots rugby initiatives, which
can foster a positive and inclusive environment for season
ticket holders.
Additional Benefits: Season ticket packages from Harlequins
often include various benefits, such as priority access to
tickets for high-demand matches, discounts on merchandise, and
invitations to exclusive events or functions related to the
club.
Again, please note that this information is based on the
knowledge available up until September 2021. It is recommended
to check the latest updates and offerings from Harlequins for
the current and upcoming seasons to make an informed decision
about their season ticket options.
I asked Bard the same question -
"Which rugby club offers the best value for money season ticket
and why"
Based on my knowledge, the rugby club that offers the best value
for money season ticket is York City Knights. Their season
ticket price is just £110 for all 13 home games and the Summer
Bash at York as well. With kids going free as well this is
incredible value.
Here are some other factors to consider when choosing a rugby
club season ticket:
-The quality of the team: You'll want to make sure that you're
supporting a team that's going to be competitive and put on a
good show.
-The location of the stadium: If you're going to be attending
games regularly, you'll want to make sure that the stadium is
easily accessible.
-The atmosphere: A good atmosphere can make all the difference
in a rugby match. Make sure to choose a club with a passionate
fan base.
Ultimately, the best way to choose a rugby club season ticket is
to consider your own needs and preferences. If you're looking
for the best value for money, York City Knights is a great
option.
So - I changed the question -
"Which rugby union club offers the best value for money season
ticket and why"
And - here was the response -
The rugby union club that offers the best value for money season
ticket is Bristol Bears. Their season ticket price is £299 for
all 18 home games in the Gallagher Premiership. This works out
at just over £16 per game, which is a great deal.
Bristol Bears are a competitive team who are always in the mix
for silverware. They play their home games at Ashton Gate, which
is a large and modern stadium with excellent facilities. The
atmosphere at Ashton Gate is electric, and you're sure to have a
great time at any Bristol Bears home game.
If you're looking for a great value for money season ticket,
then Bristol Bears are the perfect choice. You'll get to see
some of the best rugby in the world, and you'll be part of a
passionate and supportive fan base.
Here is a table of the season ticket prices for all 12 Gallagher
Premiership clubs:
Club
Bath
Bristol Bears
Exeter Chiefs
Gloucester
Harlequins
Leicester Tigers
Northampton Saints
Sale Sharks
Saracens
Wasps
As you can see, Bristol Bears offer the best value for money
season ticket in the Gallagher Premiership.

. . . . and from Bard -
"And what about Harlequins?"
Harlequins have a season ticket price of £495 for adults. They
are a competitive team who are always in the mix for silverware.
They play their home games at The Stoop, which is a large and
modern stadium with excellent facilities. The atmosphere at The
Stoop is electric, and you're sure to have a great time at any
Harlequins home game.
If you're looking for a season ticket to a competitive team with
a great atmosphere, then Harlequins are a great choice. However,
they are not the best value for money in the Gallagher
Premiership.

If you were looking at the numbers on the prem site then I've

were off by quite a lot!

Think you also have to factor in when comparing to other clubs,
how many games are played at home and what benefits do you get
Should you have access to the members bar, you lose that twice a
season. Have to say Quinssa did a great job as BG arranging a
bar, and the previous years BSKO
Should you not want to go to HQ for two home games a season, the
season ticket starts to look very expensive
