Any idea what proportion of season tickets are at the top end
compared with Quins? Quins have been known to reclassify seats
every now and then and there are quite a few Gold seats now.

I did a little maths... there aren't any particularly strong
correlations, but the best one I could find is that the low end
of ST pricing is related to how much spare capacity there is in
the ground. LI and Bristol have about 9000 spare seats on
average, while clubs with fewer seats to fill are charging more
       at the bottom end.
There's a similar but weaker relationship at the top end of ST
pricing. I don't entirely trust the attendance figures, as I
think they reflect people in the ground rather than tickets
sold, and there are definitely some figures that are wrong.

       Not a clue I’m afraid. It’s a while since I was a (Edgeley Park)
       season ticket holder

Attendance should be “bodies through the turnstiles”. However,
very often it seems that attendance is Season Ticket Holders** +
       single match ticket stiles.
**not sure how this as impacted by ticket re-sale

AFAIK attendance is always tickets sold. Re-sales shouldn't
       affect that.

I would like them to announce it as something like:
"Sold Out and Full House" - every seat sold and pretty much
       every seat taken
       or
"Sold out and 12,345 attendance" - every seat sold but not
       everyone turned up
       or
"12,345 attendance" - not every seat sold

Bristol having only 9,000 spare seats? I might query that based
on it being more than half empty the times I've been there.

That's one reason why I don't trust the figures. There's also
things like Lawrie saying that Quins had sold out all the games
this season bar a couple of hundred for the Sale game, but we're
showing as having a couple of thousand empty seats for each
       game.
