Has anyone here heard anything about a putative Prem /
Championship Cup to take place during the world cup?

Given it is one game home or away against the other sides, would
you rather travel to the Championship grounds and host the
       Premiership sides, or vice versa?

Travel to Jersey and Cornwall and at home against Prem teams.

I wonder if that means that RAMs/Cambridge will be included as
they are not in the top 24 at the end of the current 2022/23
       season.
Presumably London Scottish and Richmond are included as they are
       in the top 24.
It seems ridiculous that Wasps would be included despite them
not actually existing at the moment.

I assume it is the 24 teams in the Premiership and championship
       next season.
Currently, the RFU are assuming Wasps will play, and one of
Richmond or London Scottish will be relegated.
If Wasps do not get their act together, and according to reports
they have until the end of June, then the relegated side would
be reprieved. That would also keep Esher in Nat1 and save other
       sides down the leagues.

Having given this some thought, I strongly suspect that each
Premiership side will play one premiership side at home and one
       away.
Then there are three games against Championship sides, and
either that will be two at home and one away, or - and only if
the Premiership sides decide the cost of hosting a home game is
more than the gate, two away and one at home. Which may be the
case for the sides that share grounds.
I suspect that the broadcaster will find it much easier to
broadcast from a Premiership venue, adding to the pressure to
give those sides the extra home game.
Ampthill, Caldy and Cambridge and possibly others do not have
lights. Even getting power to the Ampthill pitch could be a
challenge. I suspect even highlights from those matches will be
       somewhat brief.

Surprised to hear that Cambridge don’t have lights CQ. We’re
installing new ones here at Bury St Edmunds, maybe you can take
our old ones? Or you could play over here? Forgot to add, many
       congrats on the promotion!
