I am going to speak from my personal view. I am not claiming
anyone else has the view. Purely my own views.
I still enjoy the days out at Twickenham for GB. Was always a
good day out and could bring the wife and peope I go with would
       bring their partners.
I also have fond memories of going with my father who departed
between BG14 and today. So today I had mixed feelings of
       excitement but also sadness.
However that aside. While I prefer games at Stoop, enjoyed the
Big games as a one off and Quins have done what they can to
replicate the Stoop atmosphere on a bigger scale.
As foe BSKO. The Kaiser Chiefs sold it to me today. Love the
band, but for this to work it needs to be in May, I admit though
       Quins can't control the calender.
I also understand the need to bring in the money to bring the
       club out of the red.

       Thought today was fantastic.
Spent two hours at big stoop pre match with the kids, they loved
all the stuff to do and watching the bands.
It only got busy after the walk over but then it was time to go
watch kaiser chiefs anyway - who were great.
       Massaoke afterwards was great too.
Guess it just depends on how your day went.

Have to wonder what’s more important, putting on enjoyable
       events or winning games
Out of 19 games we have won 8, but still a demand for tickets ,
maybe many see the rugby as a side event, and are just looking
       for a “ Day out “

I enjoyed the day yesterday, got there as it opened had a
changing room and tunnel tour which I won from the quins rewards
on MyStoop. Watched the Kaser chiefs, the rugby, drank beer
watched Massaoke then back to Stoop for a few more beers.
I'd much rather the game at the Stoop but I started my day
determined to have a great time and nothing was going to spoil
       it even the result.

It wasn’t too bad as far as these things go. Fewer drunk muppets
than Big Game and the Kaiser Chiefs were quite enjoyable. I do
think pushing it a bit later if fixtures allow would be good but
appreciate we use up our bending the fixture calendar credit on
getting a home game at Christmas.
Premiership teams are in a weird place both financially and in
competitive terms. Reliant on benefactors funding the losses to
remain vaguely competitive and stopping them going bust. Aside
from somehow getting a better TV deal the only real way to
increase revenue and exposure is additional bums on seats and
spend of those bums on seats. I wish it was different and we
could be at The Stoop every home game but realistically, events
like this are key for growing the game overall not just for
       Quins.

I assume that there are two groups on this thread.
Those that left before Massaoke and had a miserable day out.
And those that watched Massaoke and left with a feel good
       factor.
We stayed to the end and meet up with the people who sit round
up at the Stoop. Also, due to extra ticket availablity, the was
the opportunity to bring extra friends.
       Massaoke were great fun.

And that sums it up, for some the rugby is the most important
thing, for others it’s a social event

Not bothered where we play. Just want a team that looks like it
is capable of winning rugby matches regularly.

Going to a rugby game is probably the important thing when you
pay for a ticket to see a rugby game in a rugby stadium.
