Joe Marler Show

Anyone go last night to the Palladium ?
Was an entertaining evening but would have liked a section
talking about rugby and Joe's rugby stories - there were a few
Quins shirts in the audience that may have felt the same ?
I hope he is back training today getting ready for Big Game 2 on
Saturday [emoji3]

I thought it was very funny and didn't mind the lack of rugby
content. It was quite refreshing to have something that wasn't
about rugby and he can clearly carry a show on that basis. The
choir were great and were used very well within the show.

If he's got some more like the Eddie Jones one alluded to at the
start of the show, then maybe he's storing some up for the
Clapham show later in the year (or other shows).
But yes, it was better than I expected to be honest - I find it
a bit too hammed up on the recorded versions and he is clearly
more articulate than he allows to come across, but I thought the
format worked pretty well.

I was there too, enjoyed it but I think it could be polished up
a little
for future shows. Great to see it well supported.
The singers were good and heavily featured.
Some more guests and stories would be a good idea too.
I'm sure as his podcast expands more will come.
Bless him, I hope it all works out well for him and everyone
involved.
There really is only one JM ;-)
