Meh. Much as that is frustrating, perhaps we shouldn't have lost
7 from 8 games in the league.

When you win the regular season and a home play-off with 3 games
still to play you have earned the right to do as you please with
your squad.

It's been an incredibly frustrating season - should have won at
Exeter, should have won against Sale at home, should never lose
to Saints..... Bristol away..... it goes on.
League is super tight and consistency has been key - teams like
Sale who have scrapped a few wins when perhaps they could have
folded, Saints seem to have got lucky with playing teams on a
bad run....
But overall we've not been good enough this season.
Based my own predictions - the best we could manage is 6th......

Yeah, to be right back in it. I'm not convinced that 'right back
in it' is particularly realistic. It makes it sound as if it's
in our own hands, which it isn't. I'd say 'to give us an outside
chance'.

What, you mean they've only selectred their reserve
internationals and Lions?

If I'd meant it would be in our hands I'd have said that :)
If those results above happen this week, it's in our hands to
finish above both Saints and Tigers.
That would leave us needing to beat one of Exter and Irish - not
too tricky given they will take points off each other on the
final day.
So actually all we need is Saints to lose one game, Sarries or
Falcons. Unfortunately looking unlikely given Sarries' team.
Hopefully they don't pull the same nonsense against Irish next
week.
So actually it looks like Sarries could well keep us out by
throwing games :(

Unless we up our game I can see a full strength Falcons turning
us over today with an absolute try fest
Hope I’m wrong but leaving it this late in the season to stage a
fight back and hoping others results go our way is down to our
shoddy performance in the second half of the season

On the one hand if all nine planets align we’ll finish top four
On the other pretty much our best team is going to lose at home
the team at the foot of the table!
