I can't see how it makes any difference. If they got as many as
they could and the sold out, then surely stocking them earlier
would just be cloggng the shelves with stock that nobody wanted
at the time.
I know that lots of people just like having a good moan, but, I
think in this case the club has done the right thing

The Hawaiian merchandise may be too overpriced for us Rodney but
not for everyone. If they’ve sold out at those prices then its a
success. I don’t know how many they produced this year but if
they double it next year for £50 a pop and sell out it’s still a
successful venture. As long as there are enough people that will
pay anything for some tat, sorry, merchandise , they will charge
it. I will wait for them to make their way into the local
charity shops, in fact I saw one of last year’s ones in
Teddington but it was an XXL . Don’t recall the price.

I just think Quins are missing a trick big time with
merchandising. I get that they have to be cautious with supply
and demand and that supply from Castore has its limits (so drop
them!) But there has been such demand for some time now for
Quins merchandise that the current provision, both in-store and
online, is both inadequate and embarrassing. Gate 3 shop
customers told on Saturday that replica kit only available in
Gate 1 shop. Why? Especially if Gate 1 shop struggling to deal
with demand for Hawaiian merchandise. Lack of replica kit online
too (only certain sizes). Why can’t we produce some merchandise
ourselves at affordable prices and with sufficient supply and
leave replica stuff to Castore etc? I am renewing my ST but
Quins really need to step up in a lot of areas.

I think this is "any old stick to beat a dog" time. I'm willing
to believe the club has done its best to secure stock, it's
selling it believing this is the best way of doing it and I'm
sure they'll review it all in the off season. Calm down and
breathe, people!

I seem to recall, many years ago, the club giving 'free'
umbrellas out to season ticket holders on renewal!

If anyone is in need, I was at the shop at the stoop today and
they
seem to have a good number of L, XL, XXL and XXXL shirts in.
No hats left though.

STOCK UPDATE - We are advised by the shop that they have had
another delivery today of BSKO shirts in XL , 2XL and 3XL - they
will be on sale in the shop tomorrow .
