I didn't get what the hat cost, but the shirt was £40. So nice
to see the club trying to pay off that covid loan!

Saturday's weather forecast is currently 15C max, with a c.50%
chance of rain. I am going to stick to my Quins fleecy (unless
there is a dramatic change).
Also, the Big Stoop is like a fridge when the weather is
inclement.

Didn't fancy the queues after the match, so just been to the
shop, only XL, 2XL & 3XL left (apparently they shrink when
washed) and in limited quantities

Some in the club who make these retail/merchandise decisions
need shaking awake. Huge demand last season for the shirts hats,
only for this year to be not sold online. Huge opportunity
missed. Unless you’re local to The Stoop where you can visit the
shop or attending the fixture, there’s no chance in getting one.
Additionally maybe limit the sales per customer, instead of
letting one (I presume customer and not someone involved in
Harlequins) ascertain a stinking 21x shirts only to sell them on
eBay to try and make a quick buck (£60 is their price instead of
the £40 retail making a £20 profit on each shirt, whereby if
he/she sells all at that price will be £420). And that’s the
current numbers, they may have had more with some having sold
already hence would have been a bigger profit for that one
individual and even more a disappointment in the whole farce of
it. You can’t knock the person for doing this if Harlequins
themselves won’t limit the number of shirts per person or have
any sense of supply/demand for their own fans.
I personally don’t want one as I know they probably cost £8 to
make and will fit oddly/shrink but I feel for the fans who
wanted one and missed out only for the above to be allowed to
happen.

The Club would like to make supporters aware that stock of the
Limited Edition 2022/23 Big Summer Kick-Off Hawaiian range is
selling at record speed and is anticipated to shortly sell out.
No product is expected to be on sale on Saturday, the day of the
Big Summer Kick-Off event.
The Club has worked with Castore over the last year to request
as much stock as possible given the huge popularity of the range
in 2022.
While Castore have quadrupled the quantities this Season
compared to last, the 2022/23 range is selling extremely
quickly.
Regrettably due to a long production lead time, no additional
orders are expected to be made this Season.
The Hawaiian range will return in 2023/24 and the Club will once
again work with Castore to produce sufficient levels of stock to
meet demand from Harlequins supporters.

Sounds like Castore overpromised their way into a kit deal with
Harlequins then. I know Adidas stock levels were dire but
Castore just keeps letting me down. Their quality of product is
poor, designs are odd at best with the Harry Hill collar and now
they can’t produce enough Hawaiian shirts to meet demand for
them. Wasn’t that something they promised/committed to with
Harlequins/Laurie Dalrymple on regarding being a kit provider
for our club.
As a kit collector in Rugby/Football kits, many kit collectors
from either sports don’t rate Castore. They delete any comments
on their social media channels (by comments I mean the fair and
constructive ones) which tells me they don’t want to hear their
customers concerns or feedback in the slightest which to me is
unprofessional.
I hope we pick up Nike one day, they made some great England
kits and make some lovely Toulon/Toulouse/Fiji/Argentina kits
and club stash. Or Umbro, they seem pretty great too. Hopefully
one day

Not sure the comments regarding stock levels are fair or
accurate.
There was some numbers quoted at the information sharing event
that were indicating that the issue is more to do with extremely
high demand.
The club has a huge balancing act. If they produce too many
shirts and can't sell, then they would be discounting, which is
not good.
So, 4x last year's stock probably seemed sensible. Especially as
ticket sales for bsko were poor this year.
Just imagine if last Saturday the team put in a dismal
performance and lost and it was cold and rainy. They would
probably have sold very few shirts in that case. Then, many on
this board would be slating the club
