Ah right thanks for clarifying, I did think it was the case, as
otherwise I was worried the damage what could easily be a 200k+
trip could be if most were business! Including the previous
Sharks fixture that's a hefty wedge so glad if we haven't
shouldered it. (And why should Quins, they didn't decide to do
the long haul trip)

An interesting piece in the Sports section of today’s Telegraph
(sorry but I haven’t a clue how to provide a link). It features
Danny C and Courtney L giving their views on both Central
Contracts and the question of English talent playing abroad
being disqualified from representing the national team.

I cant find that article on-line? Are you reading it from a hard

In the immediate term, Care argued that a lower salary cap
should mean fewer matches. Players are well paid in France but
the workload is fierce, with a 26-game regular season, play-offs
and Europe, plus long-distance travel for away games.
“If you have a lower salary cap then you need a lower number of
games. The compromise is that your body is looked after better,”
he said.
How does that work then?
