Yeah, ok, I expressed myself somewhat clumsily but my point is
the cup existed before I bought my first season ticket back in
the 90s so I knew what I was paying for. However I’ve never
expressed any interest in women’s rugby and yet apparently I’m
now supporting it financially. I wouldn’t choose to just as I
don’t choose to buy parking in the Rosebine but I don’t have
that choice.

But, are you actually supporting it financially?
As I mentioned above, it is probably a good revenue stream.
So, theoretically, you should be paying more for your season
ticket if you choose not to support the women.

I think it is illustrated poorly in the brochure imo.
The way I understand it is your season ticket cost is based
purely on the men's games.
They are showing the cost per men's games and the * also shows
you also benefit to the value of £50 for women's games (5 home
games at the Stoop @ £10 a game.)
They haven't set the price of your ticket at £nnn. and added
£50.

If it's a good revenue stream why am I apparently paying £50 a
year for it?

Where does it say in the brochure that it’s an extra 50 for
womens games?

No idea. I'm just going by the thread title. 😁

Sure. So it's not really added to the price, it's included in
it.
Its the same as the absolute nonsense of dividing ST price by 16
for resale, when 2 of those games can't be resold and a other 2
will be sold at a fraction of the prem tickets.
Barbarians tickets, preseason games, Twickenham games and 2nd
tier euro games should not be included in the calculation,
because they will never realistically get resold.
