There is always a Churn of STH each year. With a waiting list
of 2500 the club have decided that hit the large increase now
and as long as they cover the increased Churn that will happen,

Obviously the little poll running at the top of this thread is
far too small to be statistically valid, but even so, with 35%
of respondents saying they're going to cancel, even if every
single one of those 2,500 people decides to go ahead with their
purchase, it still wouldn't come close to covering the losses,
and given that the new holder prices have also rocketed, I think
that's a very big IF!

Said on the other thread, its not the cost for me. Even with
losing the 2 games and a bit of a price increase its still great
value for money (Im Jester though so cant speak for you lot in
the half way line seats).
For me its the fixture spread. Its very sad how many times I
have been to the Stoop this season on a Saturday afternoon. Sat
3pm is the pinnacle day and time for me. I don't mind the odd
Friday and Sunday, where I can shuffle other commitments so I
can make those games, but it seems nearly every home fixture is
moved to Friday or Sunday, which I cannot do that often.
Will pay for this year, but if that's to continue, then someone
on the waiting list can have my ticket next year

I've had a few years of "this price increase is too much",
"there aren't enough 3:00pm Saturdays", "I'll renew this time,
but if it continues....."
To any one thinking the same, I can let you into a secret, it
will continue.

If I hadn't already decided to cancel beforehand, that
staggeringly deceptive twisting of data would've convinced me to
do so!

The price comparison with other sports and venues is
interesting.
I don't have name against the rugby comparison graph. Can anyone
fill those in?

So a day at the Stoop is comparable to an Ashes fixture at Lords
match time 11am to 6pm vs 80mins, plus it's an international and
not in SW London
Arsenal - notoriously expensive and not in SW London
Tottenham - brand new stadium not in SW London
Wembley - Internationals and knock out cup games - not in SW
London
Ascot - RA opens at 10am and last bars are around 19.00 world
class racing plus the King
But if Quins add the pre season with Scottish, the third XV cup
and two games not in your seat we're cheaper therefore better
value.

I will pay but the lies and spin will probably mean less time at
the ground and associated spend, because I don't like being
treated as an idiot.
