Normally I'd agree, but all those messages about how much they
appreciated us all, and how we were one big Quins family when we
were willingly donating our cash during Covid are really leaving
a rather bitter aftertaste now.
Anyway, good luck to the club, but I'll be spending more time
and money at my local club and going to Quins away fixtures
(which I've always fancied doing more of) next season.

As one of those who literally commented “season tickets are
voluntary” on another thread..
I’m genuinely shocked by the level of the price increases.
As per the above, I donated my whole season ticket cost (gold
(not premier, i forgot which was higher in earlier post)) for
two years or so (basically every time they asked).
I know rugby is knackered - but Chiefs just reduced their prices
because of fan anger and lower numbers.
My fear, as per England prices, is the stoop ends up full of
Ruperts and city t****** in red cords and deck shoes who spend
80 mins braying about their investments rather than watching
rugby.
1000 quid for a season is a lot. And learning it’s more
expensive than Chelsea - who have many more matches and are
super rich - is pretty hard to take.
I was hoping to get an extra seat this year for family but no
way I’m spending that.
It’s quite a statement by the “we appreciate your support, doing
it for the Quins family” club…

Now I understand the laughable comparison with 'similar'
offerings, like Chelsea 🤣
Erm, try comparing with a football club who has a 15k stadium
and their prices.

Depends. But let's not forget that they get 19 home league
games, FA cup, league Cup, champions league, etc. And they don't
have to thrown in women's games which nobody would go to to make
it sound more worthwhile.
Oh yeah, and they are not playing a minority sport.
They start at £750, for more than double the meaningful games.
Highest is £940. Women's season ticket sold separately for 49
quid.
So the value is absolutely miles ahead of quins.

Having been a Chelsea season ticket for many years, the cost of
season tickets isn’t too bad but compare the cost of the West
Upper at Stamford Bridge which is £3k a season or £240 per
match!
I also have a membership at Surrey CC which is fantastic value,
£225 for a whole summer of cricket. Although I am paying £160
for ashes tickets.
Overall - sport is big money

A little birdie tells me that Wasps & Worcs aren't the end of
it, and at least two more clubs are in real trouble. I hope
they're wrong.
The problem Quins face is that the real solution to the problem
is to cut wages dramatically - they're unsustainably high in
English rugby right now and the entire structure is built on
quicksand. But they can't do it unilaterally, it'd torpedo the
club and be even worse for the fans than putting the prices up.
So we're left with the next least worst option, which is asking
fans to pay more. It's a huge amount of money.
I'm not going to mock people for complaining about the prices,
that seems very silly to me. I'm also not going to mock people
for paying the prices - everyone makes their own choices for
this sort of thing. There are no winners here - it's a sad
reflection of the state of English club rugby.

I've come to the conclusion that the club actually want as many
of us as possible to cancel our membership so that they can sell
our seats at higher prices for individual games.
If that's their policy, then so be it, it's their gaff so their
rules, but let's hope that their confidence in their ability to
keep selling out isn't misplaced, and God help them if there's
ever another lockdown!

It appears to be £350 for Jester Senior cf £265 last year" so
34% increase!
For 2 less games in seats with a restricted view!
it will take some thinking about!

I don' tthink this needs conspiratorial thinking. They need more
money. So they're charging more.
