Unless it includes direct debit payers who've not yet cancelled?
I would've thought the majority of people would pay by DD?

I wonder if it includes the direct debit people like me who are
auto renewed unless we actively cancel.
Coz 4000 is heading for half the total season tickets.

It's where the Stoop is!
It's also where Chelsea is, but they didn't include Chelsea in
the comparison - despite it being much closer than Spurs or
Arsenal - as they're cheaper than Quins, and monumentally so
when you consider it on a per match basis.

It really isn't good value. The prices have gone through the
roof in recent years. I bought our first season tickets in 2004.
It was a fraction of what it is now.

The earning potential of this club through ticket sales is
limited. Rugby cannot be played at the same frequency as
football - it's not possible to play weekends and midweek. The
season is only a set number of weeks. The ground only holds so
many people.
Football clubs play 20+ times per season at home. The larger
clubs who have been mentioned here have grounds 3 or 4 times the
size of the Stoop. And most importantly, they have massive
sources of external income - TV deals, sponsorships and
increasingly frequently billionaire owners.
Everyone knows that rugby loses money and has done ever since it
turned professional, and there are very few ways to get it onto
a more stable footing. Putting up prices is unwelcome but not a
massive shock.

Of course it will continue. No one is saying it wont. But
hopefully not to the same extent.

In fairness, everything was a bit cheaper 19 years ago. Penny
sweets were still about a penny, just!!!

In fairness, inflation means things today are ~165% of 2004
prices.
