Assuming Smith starts there is going to be a large amount of
pressure on England to peform/win. If they don't then it will be
interesting to see how the media and fans in general react.
There's an awful lot of expectation from what I've read this
       week.

Think the Telegraph has the inside line most consistently.
I don't know about expectation to win, but certainly to perform.
If we lose a cracking contest where we score some brilliant
tries and give a very good team a real battle, I can't see too
many complaints. They are better than us.
I'm sure all of us are nervous for Marcus but he is the go-to
guy to get Quins out of trouble time and again - he does seem to
play his best under pressure. I hope it holds true this weekend.

Will believe it when I see it but how good will that be? I'd
pick March at 13 as it gives the best chance of success and then
bring the runners in from the wing and Freddie, along with
       Dommers off the inside shoulder
Could be beautiful but you also feel that if it doesn't work,
all of the media will turn again

I think its a very important game for Smith to finally what show
he can do on the biggest stage possible for him, without the
"shackles" of Farrell being around. If the back play doesn't
improve massively, a fair few fans would probably say hes had
20+ caps now and hasn't offered much, with the clamor then being
for Ford/Faz to be the 10s for RWC. If we win with a few tries
in the mix, he will retain the shirt and play in Ireland, and
will have a firm foot in the door to be the starting 10 for RWC.
       Big moment for him

A lot of them are already saying it… and we’re also getting “a
good fly half should adapt to the players around them”, “he
shouldn’t have to be supported by having other Quins players
       around him” etc…
There’s not much recognition that he’s been in a faltering side
(and to a large extent been the only player in Eddie’s final
squads who seemed to understand the strategy) but was still the
highest scorer in the last 6N. He’s also scored 7 tries and 160+
points in 20 games, which stacks up well against Ford’s 304
points and 10 tries in 84.

Wouldn't like to have to sit next to Farrell on that bench!

Good team. Pack pretty much picks itself now, and in my view
would be absolutely fine to go into the RWC with. I imagine the
only possible changes would be around the form of Tom
       Curry/Mercer.
Backs I think is spot on, although I would of liked Marchant who
would get more out of that team with Smith then Slade IMO.
Malins is an interesting one. I think he has been a fairly good
operator so far, but his defensive capabilities will be tested
over the next 2 games. I think that team there will be the
nucleus of our RWC starting XV so hopefully they continue to
gel, as they have as the tournament has progressed.
