Yep last week he said England can only win the RWC with Farrell
at 10, now ditching him is a great move.

Interesting difference between Ruck and BBC
BBC
Starting Marcus Smith ahead of captain Owen Farrell in England's
Six Nations match against France would be a "great call" by
coach Steve Borthwick, says World Cup-winning former coach Sir
Clive Woodward.
Farrell, who has won 104 caps, is set to drop to the bench, with
24-year-old Smith at fly-half at Twickenham on Saturday.
Woodward says Farrell, 31, has "huge respect" across the rugby
world but coaches must sometimes go with their "gut instinct".
"We've all dropped big players," Woodward told BBC Radio 4's
Today programme.
"You have got to make those calls. It's still early days for
Steve and, if you are going to make these big calls to try to
find out your best starting team, you need to make them early in
your career.
"I was looking forward to the game anyway, but even more so now
that Smith starts at 10."
Ruck quotes Sir clive as saying
“For the good of England’s progression, Borthwick needs to nail
his colours to the mast in terms of who he picks at fly-half.
Some might say he has already done so by naming Farrell as
captain for this Six Nations and picking him ahead of Smith for
the games against Italy and Wales. Today, my choice would be
Farrell, too.”
He added: “Twelve to 18 months ago, I was calling for Smith to
start so he could get the time needed ahead of the World Cup.
Now, that time has been lost. It was wasted by the previous
regime,
“Importantly, that time has also been lost in finding the right
No 9 and No 12. Jack van Poortvliet has great promise but is too
inconsistent. Ollie Lawrence has stepped up in the last two
games, albeit against the weakest teams in the tournament. Both
need more time and Farrell offers the experienced hand to guide
them.
“Much is said of Farrell being more reserved than Smith or Ford.
That he is, but with more attacking players selected around him
like Max Malins, Henry Slade, Henry Arundell and Anthony Watson,
the backline can improve, and fast. Consistency is key and even
more so if fast ball becomes England’s mantra.

Also interstsing to see tommy A starting at fullback
Harlequins fly-half Tommaso Allan will play at full-back instead
of injured Toulouse star Ange Capuozzo.
He struggled a bit when he tried that for us

I personally wouldn't trust anything from Ruck. Their approach
seems to be post as many things as you can on a topic, as by law
of averages one might get it right. I've already seen several
"leaked" starting line ups posted by Ruck, both different.
FWIW, If you are starting Marcus, I think Mitchell is the
perfect candidate to replicate Danny. Infact, I would make him
our top signing priority next season when DC (probably) does
make it his last.
