Would also like to say that Kennginham at 6 worked brilliantly -
I forgot how quick Chisholm is. It actually made a lot of sense
once you saw them playing. Kenners made a mess of their lineout
too

First complete game we have played in a while. What a difference
Kenningham and Lewies make to our lineout?
Marcus will get the plaudits but my MOTM was James Chisholm. The
man was everywhere.
We have really missed the three back rowers that started today
and as others said, having everyone back for the run in makes us
dangerous.

Couldn't agree more.
Lewies and Kenningham transformed our line out and we bossed the
scrum early on. What a difference having a solid set piece to
play from makes.
Chisholm was my MOTM too. He was a menace at the breakdown as
well as giving us go-forward.
Moment of the match has to be DC's offload for Riley's try.
Outrageous!

One thing I particularly enjoyed today was that the back row
demonstrated that it doesn't have to be Chisholm v Lawday. Both
played impressively and worked well together.

I don’t think it’s ever been Chis vs Lawday; there have been
quite a few times they’ve played well together in the past. It’s
just that when you’ve also got Dombrandt, Kenningham and Evans
there are lots of ways to perm the back row.
It’s a nice problem to have when your 6th choice back row is
Wallace.

Indeed. When all fit and available, its only Dombrandt who is a
nailed on starter in the back row.

A great day and a wonderful result for the men. That was our
best performance and as close to an 80 minute performance as
anyone could ever expect. Absolutely terrific. Everyone was up
for it and they all looked really tuned in to each other and
really joined up. Smith's importance cannot be overstated in
linking everyone together and putting the opposition on the back
foot.
Our kicking was really clever, the lineout and scrum were really
good and our defence was the best I have seen in......ever? To
limit Chiefs to one try is really impressive.
As said above, Kenners, Lawday and especially the rampaging Chis
were back with a bang. We are in the mix for 3rd or 4th again,
which is really exciting. Briz on Sunday will be an opportunity
for us to make another statement, as will Sarries away. Fingers
crossed.
