Twickenham is turfed with Desso Grassmaster, which is grass with
a very long synthetic thread woven into it to improve its
resilience. It basically means it doesn't cut up much, even
under the weight of repeated scrums. So generally, it's capable
of handling two matches in a day without the second one being a
mess.

Unfortunately those emails from home turf just show the max
capacity of the ground so therefore the potential max crowd.

Nope we just have turf -- not the mix with the artificial stuff
that HQ has.

Just looked at the ticket site, if capacity is 60k, we're still
a fair way off.
Quite a few blocks showing over 30% empty, a couple up to 50% in
the middle tier.
Lower east stand between the dead ball lines is averaging just
under 20% of seats still available, and that average has been
pulled down a bit coz the block smack in the middle is 98% full.

I think we have done well to get to 50k too much else on - big
Scouts and Guides Monopoly run in London on Saturday rules out
many families and this is long planned when Big Game was in
December.

I think it would be more accurate to describe it as 'hybrid'.

I'll be there for both games. On Monday 20th February my
96-year-old dear mother passed away peacefully. In her younger
days she would have loved the atmosphere (although she preferred
Warriors at Six ways & the Stoop). This will be the 1st time I
can't call her to look out for me on the TV. It is going to feel
strange for me not doing that. She loved her Rugby.
