Cardiff have now confirmed Jarrod Evans is off. No mention of
the destination but feels like it could be true that he’s on his
way to us.

Now, Deadly, that would be a funny thing to see, Johnny Sexton
at Quins with our game plan. Watch his Rolls Royce performances
deteriorate to a Renault Clio as he's knackered after 20
minutes.
Now, put him in the England game plan, he would generate more
than our current 'world class operator' 10 as he moves the ball
to where the damage can be done rather than kicking it away all
the time.

True, but Ireland have experimented with several other fly
halves over this cycle, and are pretty comfortable playing
without Sexton these days.
I'm not saying that Farrell or Ford definitely won't be
contenders next cycle, just that it's dumb to play a whole cycle
on the assumption that they will be available and not develop
their successors.
Especially when their successor has the potential to be better
than either given a proper chance.
