Not a great surprise as Borth-kick wants a Leicester-style team.
While I feel sorry for Marcus, it suits me fine as Quins always
comes before England for me. I just hope Dommers doesn't get
injured.

Of course, thanks! 😁

Ford is an excellent tactician but was visibly about 50% fit
when he played at the weekend. Has no place playing a test next
week.
I wouldn’t want to be Exeter facing a fired up Marcus, mind you.
We need him back for the run in, as we basically can only afford
to drop one more game.

Given that England are likely to get absolutely thumped in the
next 2 games, they might not be bad games to miss.
Anyway #BorthwickOut!

Lets just hope Smith doesn't get disillusioned with England and
decide to go for a pay day in France. With his contract up next
year I'm getting slightly worried.

Hopefully this gives Marcus enough time to re-integrate with the
squad before HQ on Saturday

Also, Marcus has hardly played any meaningful minutes for a few
weeks, possibly sent back to change this.
He will also be relatively fresh

Finn Russell leaving racing 92 leaves an opening there for
Marcus to cash in . Well he may as well as he won’t get selected
under this regime

Bound to happen. He’s won the Premiership, time for another more
lucrative club, with actually a genuine chance of winning the
European Champions Cup. Faz and Ford will be around for a few
more years blocking him anyway so why stay

Agreed, and Borthwick knows both of them from Leicester/Sarries
days. I was hoping that NEv's influence might have swayed
Borthwick towards Marcus. Sadly it seems not.
