I thought Dombrandt was excellent, though. His best game for
England.
On Freddie Steward, though, strewth mate, he’s (arguably) not
even the best player under the high ball in his own club.

That is ridiculous! England did the flat track bullies thing
well. They could afford for Farrell to have a mare from the tee.
But honestly, glad I didn't go 144 miles to watch that. We were
doing well enough that Borthwick could have risked Marcus for 20
minutes.

I do think some of the criticism of Farrell is over the top
sometimes. Not today though, he was dire.

I wouldn't get carried away with England winning in Cardiff
today. Wales were awful, 3 points came from a poor England exit
and 7 were from a interception.
I could be wrong, but I think George Ford will come onto the
bench instead of Smith for Ireland and France.
Smith's chances of making the WC squad are slim I think, Ford
has worked a lot with Borthwick at Tigers and Farrell is the
captain.

A win is a win-very concerned about Farrel goal kicking-he used
to be so reliable-would Marcus have done better?

I've just read that Farrell has a 44% success rate in this 6Ns,
if that's any other fly-half then Borth-kick would drop them. I
wouldn't be surprised to see Ford back in ahead of Smith for the
France game.

The other thing to think about is if he's not getting game time
then he's in the same position Nick Evans was with Dan Carter
and may look for a similar solution. I really doubt it but it
doesn't make any overseas offers less appealing.

Farrell is (according to the journalists and other fanboys) the
most important player in the squad, for his leadership skills,
his work rate, his goal kicking and his defence. Well I didn't
see much of any of those things from Fazlet today, or at any
other time this 6 nations.
Can we call the Faz at 10 thing busted now?
For the good of English rugby, please, please, please!
