Not sure what you've got against Isekwie. He's a solid,
consistent and strong player. Not the sensational Maro type, but
also not the penalty magnet either. Great squad player who can
slot in without a drop in quality. I wouldn't have any issue if
he were signed by Quins as I think he's still young and
improving. But he's already a very good player.

Veering OT but v USA during the ‘21 Lions. Was that the game
when Marcus found out he was going to SA?
And in HESM’s defence, I guess Curry is a big name in England
rugby - just not this Curry.

I'd have him at the Stoop too, he's very good in the Prem. I
just said I don't think he has international class.
That said, whilst in different roles, I'd have him streets ahead
of Ewels for effectiveness.

Has Isiekwe ever stood out for England as Chessum did on
Saturday? I've always been a bit underwhelmed by Isiekwe with
England, despite how good a club player he is.

I've always seen Isiekwe as physically similar to Lawes but
lacking the rugby intelligence that would make him a really
exceptional player.

Isiekwe is another player who under Jones has been in and out of
squads like a yo-yo. A clean slate for him and a number of other
players in my opinion.

Yes, though I can't remember exactly which matches. He's put in
a few where his workrate in defence has pulled a rabbit out of
the hat and his lineout work was really impressive.
They're quite different players - you'll notice Chessum more in
the tight and with ball in hand, and Isiekwe more in defence, at
the lineout, and over the ball.
