Too right they should be. As long as it’s not random abuse, I’d
prefer to be sat with passionate fans than the corporate types.
The atmosphere at Twickenham has sunk in my view, from what I’ve
seen anyway. Expensive tickets prices a lot of genuine fans out
so what you have now are probably fairly affluent/well to do
types who are going to be less boisterous/passionate. This may
be a bit of a stereotype though.. but ultimately the audience
that’s affordable for twickenham now, is pretty much the leading
factor for the lack of atmosphere (along with playing terrible
rugby for years)

I was in the "cheap" seats in the Upper NW corner, it was great
up there, a mix of English and Scottish supporters all watching
a close game, great amosphere up there....
But we are far from the pitch and no one can hear You scream

At £170 a go I guess what people are looking for is as near the
comfort as you get at home in front of the telly but with the
ability not to be stuck with the Producer/Director constantly
cutting away to long distance angles unneccasarily. Plus they
might be thinking why do I have to tolerate these soccer type
rowdy boys....

Just popping in to see if we could correct the grammar of the
subject line, it is bringing me out in a rash.
Hamilton can keep his "match's" as a plural if he wants

Completely agree with his comments that fans should be more
passionate.
But isn't this more a reflection of the plastic and politically
correct society that we now live in (where everything can be
recorded on a cameraphone) rather than specifically an issue
with fans?
I also believe that, err, "bladder strength" is weaker amongst
youngers of today compared to 20 or 30 years ago........

I'd be surprised. I've not noticed Twickenham ever appearing
like a haven for the politically correct, although definitely
the weak of bladder.
I believe Wales were pretty quiet after a bit on Saturday too.
Don't forget that bloke appeared to have had a few and was quite
happy swearing on camera. Who knows what he was actually
shouting when someone asked him to shut up. 😁

That was my thought. Was clearly battered and just ranting about
Tuilagi. One might uncharitably guess that he doesn't know what
he's talking about, got a freebie, got smashed, only knows the
name of one player, then got annoyed when those around him
didn't want to join a Mexican wave and got annoyed when he kept
getting up every 5 minutes
