Englands centre choices

So assuming either Marcus or Farrell are dropped, what are the
choices for centre we have across the premiership? Having a
quick look this morning through the squads, here's a list of
primary centres who are English qualified (may have missed one
or two). With injuries, who would get in there in front of
Farrell?:
Elliot Daly
Alex Lozowski
Dom Morris
Sam Hill
Manu Tuilagi
Luke James
Ollie Devoto
Tom Hendrickson
Henry Slade
Ian Whitten
Fraser Dingwall
Mark Atkinson
Billy Twelvetrees
Joe Marchant
Lennox Anyanwu
Luke Northmore
Will Joseph
Dan Kelly
Guy Porter
Will Butt
Piers Francis
Jonathan Joseph
Ollie Lawrence
Max Ojomoh
Max Wright
Sam Bedlow
Piers O’Conor
Too many choices, not enough, surely there is a fit and healthy
pair of centres that can do a good job for England!!

Ian Whitten is an Ulsterman; but my choice of centres would be
Ollie Lawrence & Joe Marchant.

-Given Borthwick's propensity for picking Old Codgers at
Leicester, Billie Twelvetrees & Piers Francis must be back in
the frame..

I’m confident Marcus will get the chip before Owen, simply
because Farrell is captain and it reflects badly on SB to pick a
captain despite the clamour for others.
Farrell, Kelly, Lawrence would be my choice but would be happy
with Lawrence and Marchant, although hasn’t Lawrence played
mostly at 13? The main reason for Englands back failures is we
pick players who for their club who go well in one position, but
put them in an England shirt playing somewhere else.
Farrell Manu and Joe could be a good balance. I get Manu isn’t
“the future”, and I’d play Kelly if fit.
Personally I think the best would be Marcus, Manu and Marchant.
You could put Lawrence at 13, but I think it would be a bit to
one dimension with both he and manu. That said, if Lawrence can
play 12 to a standard needed at international level then he is
the future

If Kelly isn’t fit I’d go Lawrence and Marchant or Lawrence and
Slade (if HS is fit). I do think SB dropped a clanger by making
OF captain as it means he essentially has to play despite there
being plenty of argument over his place in the team.

Matt Dawson on the BBC website "New head coach Steve Borthwick
has boxed himself in by choosing Owen Farrell as his captain."
Yes, we al knew that.
If SB did not know that, he should not be England coach.
If he did, he definitely should not be England coach.
With my Blood and Sand glasses on - giving astigmatism in favour
of former Cambridge players, I would pick Fraser Dingwall, and
would wonder what Alex Goode and Ben Spencer need to do to be
considered.
But with non-biassed glasses, Slade and Marchant looks a good
balanced pair.

Regarding Alex Goode it's quite simple; play in an international
and don't look like it's a level above your ability.
He's had 21 chances so far and not got close.

Sadly he chose the wrong captain, I wonder if fit whether Lawes
would have got it. But I think avenge would have been the right
choice, certainly worked at Tigers.
I think we’ll see the Smith/Farrell axis once more but until we
have just one of them on the pitch at anyone time we’ll not see
the best of Smith in white.
