Quins women v Loughborough Sunday 5th Feb, 2.30 ko

I am looking forward to the above game. A strong side has been
named v 8th placed Loughborough. I am really pleased to see
Australian international Bella McKenzie starting at 10, together
with a back three full of fliers !
£10 for non members, free for members, but you need to pre-book
       tickets on the Quins website.
I'd rather watch this than see France's demolition of Italy
       tomorrow !
       Anyone for the same ?

Aye, will be there cheering them on. Bella will be at 12 though,
with Scottie at 10, deadly duo! Great to see Chloe get 100 caps
       also, fantastic achievement [emoji122]

       24-10 at half time.
The score is a good reflection of the game so far.
But, we let 2 soft tries in

39-17 final score, but this flatters to deceive. In the 2nd half
Loughborough were pushing & pushing. We gave away far too many
penalties, especially at the breakdown. Abbie Dow had a great
game, as did Ellie Kildunne (until she had to go off injured,
clutching the back of her ribs, it seemed).
Still, a 5-point win on a beautiful sunny afternoon, puts us
back into 3rd place again. A good way to spend a Sunday
afternoon, folks. I do wish more people would attend - the
standard of rugby will, I am sure, surprise many !
Next game up is Saracens away in 2 weeks.

Good result and agree, score line a bit flattering but the
delays in play and number of knocks ons really interrupted the
       flow.

       day I am afraid.

What was the attendance? After the success of recent World Cup
it’s important to monitor .. are they rising ? All
I seem to see is Durham ladies getting battered week in week out
. That is not good for development sadly

       They didn't announce the attendance.
       But, it felt quite good.
Basically Quins did an "accessibility ' day to make it easier
for people with disabilities to attend.
As far as I could see, they did a pretty nice job of it.it
certainly made a nice friendly atmosphere.
