Wow, where are these stats from?

       In England terms.
In ten years and 101 games Farrell has scored ten tries.
Ford in eight years and 84 appearances has scored ten tries.
Smith in one year and 13 appearances has scored six tries.

       Also in England terms.
Farrell averages 11.14 points per game.
       Ford averages 3.67.
       Smith averages 10.69.
Farrell, of course, has been the primary kicker when on the
       field.

       In comparison:
Dan Carter in 12 years had 112 appearances with 29 tries and an
average of 14.27 points per game.
Jonny Wilkinson in 13 years had 91 appearances with an average
of 12.95 points per game (sorry I couldn’t find tries scored).
Johnny Sexton in 13 years has 109 appearances with 16 tries and
an average of 9.31 per game.

A while back (feb '21) I did a comparison of Farrell vs Ford at
       10 for England.
Farrell starting at ten (including the Brisbane game where he
moved to 12 after 29 minutes and Ford played 10 the entire time)
in international rugby: 60% win rate
Ford starting at ten (not including the above game): 80%
       Last five years:
       Farrell: 64% (same caveat)
       Ford: 81.5% (ditto)

All just numbers. Andy Dunne had a better kicking percentage for
Quins than Paul Burke. But it was obvious who was the better
kicker as Dunne's limit was about 15 yards less.
Also, I'd be more interested, for instance, in try assists for a
fly-half than tries scored. Ashton scored loads. 😁

Ford is back this weekend too. I still think he could be
England's best 10. Him, Ollie Lawrence and Marchant or Slade
would be a very decent midfield.

Alternatively it could be read that there has been a limited
threat from 10/12 up to recently meaning teams such as South
Africa have been able to contain England knowing where the
       threats are going to be.

Frankly, with bare rugby data you could probably make a case for
       multiple readings. 😁

Gosh, those stats are utterly meaningless. Why statisticians
can't use useful comparators like minutes per break, rather than
0.0003 breaks per match is beyond me.
