I like it - been three times now. Hopefully they can grow their
fanbase to fill it up a bit. Any half empty stadium will lack
atmosphere. The drums and the bloke with the bell also help to
ruin the atmosphere in the immediate area. I've got no problem
with them per se, but when you're close to them they kind of
drown out/deaden the crowd reactions to what's happening on the
pitch.

Out of interest, do you feel the same way about the drum at the
Stoop?

Quins drum? I've hardly been to the Stoop since pre-COVID but I
was at the Sharks game - don't recall a drum.

The podcast guys have the drum and sit in the eastern side of
the south stand.

Do they just bang it to get a chant started every now and then
rather than all through the game?

If there's a drum at The Stoop it can't be anywhere near where I
sit. I hope that continues!
