After a couple of names were shouted and duly sung to, someone
shouted “It’s Brian’s birthday!”… which the rest of the crown
instantly got and began chanting for Brian.

PF if you ever see any of the seniors’ tour shirts, one of them
has a sponsor represented by a silhouette and a Latin phrase.
The “sponsor” was actually one of our vets players (/club
legend) called Brian who kindly stumped up for the shirts. The
silhouette is recognisably him.
Our (25-year old) captain said the phrase is “something like
‘he’s not Jesus, he’s bad’”.
I mean, FFS, are they taught nothing in schools these days
🙄

agree with the pack, but i think we will see Beard at 13 and
Morris on the wing. Bit of succession planning for when Joe is
off.

I think we will see Lenny at 13.
Last weekend, LS played with Hyde at 12 and Lenny at 13.
Morris and Chis Jnr weren't selected - so, they may have had
minor knocks.
So, we may see the bench as
Riley
Baxter
Kerrod
Hammond
Wallace
Edwards
Steele
Hyde

Chis Jnr and Collier were just finishing off a fitness
test/training session when we arrived just before 11:30 (well
there was a tackle bag and two sweaty players, I'm just guessing
the rest)

Maybe they were being rested rather than risk injury, knowing
they'll be needed for Quins?

Great news that Chis and Will are that close to being back - I
thought Collier would be out for longer.

I'm sure "someone" said he was out for the season - FACT...
