I actually thought Wallace had a good game last week, I wouldn’t
have dropped him.

Agreed. Plus Lamb at 6 gives us another quality option at line
out time.

We have 3 locks starting so it makes sense to have an extra
backrower on the bench. Not convinced by Lamb at 6 but can see
the need for it.
Confused why we're favourites here, that's a monster Sharks
team!

I think the bench has been selected very carefully. Lamb at 6
gives us some heft against that powerful pack and increases our
lineout options (though Wallace stepped up well last week). No
second row on the bench is clearly because Lamb can move in, if
need be, hence two backrowers. Need Wallace on the bench as a 7,
because we have seen that, much as I have generally liked
Lawday, he is definitely not a 7. Delighted that there is no
sign of Morris in the Quins' squad (or the London Scottish
squad) — that was a very weird selection by the management last
weekend.

The bookies aren't right or wrong because they don't gamble.
It's the punters' money making us the favourite.
Also, one team's always odds on in a rugby match; again, those
bookies really don't like to gamble. 🙂

If that team has Lamb at 4 and Lewies at 6, no one bats an
eyelid.
Three locks makes sense against a bigger pack and the selection
of lamb over Hammond and Wallace as the backup 7 looks like a
selection to ensure the lineout works.
Side looks as good as it could be at this time. Weather is
overplayed as we are a dry weather team and it won’t be that dry
a track. They start as favourites but think we will get the
point or so we need to clinch last 16, probably a tough draw
away to someone French.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lewies doesn't last the 80 so
hopefully Lamb is fit to play the whole game.

Yep, although Lamb at 4, Lewies at 6 & Hammond on the bench
keeps the line out functioning better. Dommers might have to be
the 3rd option and not be in the attacking line all the time,
with the backs.
Etzebeth will track Lewies and gamble on beating Dino in 50% of
the others....

It's just numbers on shirts. I wouldn't be surprised to see
players swapping position in the pack at various points.
