       I'm not sure anyone can say that Saville has been subsidised -
       quite the opposite. Paying full whack during the ND1 season to
       save some staff's jobs was a very nice gesture and those who did
       it should be rightly proud, but I think to say they were
       subsidising Saville is a little wide of the mark

       Completely concede that Saville has subsidised my watching of
       professional rugby through the money he has put into Quins.  As
       you say, the loyalty wall was a nice gesture - just not a
       financially rational one!
