Eng v Scot tickets on general sale - not just singles

Just went to check for someone and there's a bunch of seats now
available online -- not just singles, in some decent areas if
you have lots of money to burn.

I'm not buying another England ticket until I'm convinced Eddie
Jones' influence has been expunged!

£137 for the cheapest!
Think I will give that a miss.

Little wonder they are unsold.

Lots for Italy too. Cheapest you’ll get I think is £97.
For some that’s acceptable, but not me. £60/70 tops.

For c.15/16 home games, plus c.10 women's games, my annual
season ticket costs about £19 per game. Far better value than
the above in my opinion (and a far nicer atmosphere). Quins for
me anytime !!!!

Yep, I think we've finally found the point where they're just
that bit too expensive. The Italy pricing in particular is way
over the top.

After the 2003 Rugby World Cup, there were a couple of 'special'
games put on at HQ. I bought tickets for those games, but
nothing since.
I think the tickets nowadays are just too expensive.

I'm not sure the general tone is one of moaning, more pointing
out that we seemed to have reached the price point where the
average fan are put off watching our national team. That's fine,
the RFU are entitled to try to maximize revenue, but they have
to be wary of alienating certain sections of the fanbase.
When you are talking upwards of over 500 pounds for a family for
a day out, that's not small change to many people. As a non
season ticket holder, personally I would rather go and watch
Quins 3 or 4 times then watch England at the moment.
Anyway each to their own, I hope you enjoy your day out
Grimsdale and I'll enjoy the game on the TV.

They are seriously expensive. I got two tickets through my local
club (whom I've played for almost 40 years and I'm still an
active member)
They were £137 each and they're low down behind the posts.
They're not good value but once I'd applied these were what I'd
got. I only applied as this was the opportunity to get Scotland
tickets at Twickenham (I know the the name gives it away)
Didn't really have a chance once committed) same tickets at
Murrayfield are £95. Still expensive but not quite as dear as
HQ.
