It is interesting analysis but he still should have grounded it,
and I still don't think tmo could see enough to overrule on
field decision. And ref shouldn't have blown early if he wasn't
completely sure he'd grounded and the move was finished. But
mainly he should have grounded!

A try that would have been completed in 95% of cases. Not quite
sure how it wasn't in this instance. Yes, short ball to David
might have been better, but winger received in space, with
momentum, late-arriving cover and a sight of the chalk. Got to
be a score.

Should of been taken, and sadly it's small moments like that
which determine who wins or not.
Morris was actually fairly effective for us a few years back on
the wing, so I'd give him another go against the Sharks, but I
think his squad place is better taken by someone coming through
the academy and his wages used elsewhere.

There's a lot there in the work rate of the defenders.
Marchant's timing on the pass is slightly off which gives the
defender he's turned a chance to cover, and Morris is
effectively presented with a 1 on 3.
I think he needs to keep the ball in both hands so he has the
chance of an inside pass if it opens up, but the defenders are
effectively surrounding him. With more gametime he might have
had the strength to force it down or to back himself a bit more,
but that's a hard try to finish given the cover gets across in
numbers.

Morris has just come back from injury. He has played a few games
for LS since his return.
His first was against Richmond on 31st December. He scored a try
and almost scored a second. He was probably the standout LS
player on the day. I noticed that he kept on checking his ankle
- so, I am not sure that he was 100% match ready. He was subbed
at around the 1 hour mark.
I didn't see the next game for LS. But, from reports, he played
well. I think he may even have scored a try.
Based on his performances, he deserved inclusion in the Quins
matchday squad.
However, Sunday was not his best game.
Should we pick him again?
- in my opinion, yes. He is good under the high ball. He can
switch to 15, He is good defensively and he is pretty quick and
(ignoring last Sunday) he is a good finisher
Should we pick him for Saturday?
- not sure. Personally, I would prefer to put people who are
returning from long layoffs on the bench. He would be a good
bench option due to his ability to cover wing and fb.
