Dombrandt, Catrakilis and Saili off the bench.

Merrick has a solid return, Kunatani looks v handy - really
encouraging to think we might have a functioning back 3 during
England windows. Wallace and Clifford will have a fair bit to
       show to get in.
Ibitoye looked like he needs more top level game time - bit out
of position, but he’s a unit, haven’t seen him play before.
Dombrandt - couldn’t see a lot, didn’t seem to do anything
       wrong.
Cat - good boot, distribution so so.
       Saili, punchy, needs game time.

I thought the atmosphere was good. We continued to support the
boys throughout. It was great to see so many tries.
It was a good performance from a strong team. I do hope we
continue to take it seriously (as opposed to the footie teams in
       the Europa League!)
Semi was good, as was Marchant, Smith and Mulchrone. Marler
seems to be taking on ever more responsibility and is really
showing some leadership qualities. Crumpton and Earle are
excellent additions and Chisholm was just immense. I also like
Bothma a lot. He just needs to hold on to the ball in contact.
He just loves to smash, with or without the ball!
There are issues that need ironing out but I was pleased with
the positive, attacking intent throughout. We have reasons to be
cheerful and positive about Europe and the league. The club
feels like it's on the right track. Well done Gussy, so far!
Has anyone seen if Saturday's game is on the telly?

It took our lineout some time to remember how to catch - the
first two they actually caught drew applause from a grateful
crowd! So no full marks for Merrick etc.
Earle appeared to twist/catch his knee and looked in some
discomfort - hope he's OK as he has been the brightest of the
       new guys so far.
Our back row didn't get nearly enough turnover ball - missing
Wallace and Ward in that department.
Team generally needs catching and local awareness practise - it
was a pretty scrappy game at times, punctuated by the occasional
5 minutes of fluidity when we managed to put speed to the ball
and put a few phases together.
New combinations aplenty - continue the progress at Grenoble and
bring back some rested from last game to build inter-player
relationships so it doesn't hurt when rotation does occur within
squad. I'd like to see a gradual return of the best XV before
league games start again after Europe and new LV thing (what's
it called?), International players obviously excepted...

Thought Sinckler seems to have sorted himself out. Some good
tackles, some good runs and excellent passes. No penalties that
       i was aware of.

I don’t think anyone had a shocker stand outs for me were
Mulchrone and Kunatini. It was good for Siali to get some game
time and I would be tempted to start him next week Marchant
       needs a rest.

Yes I'd rest Marchant, Earle & Brown, with Saili, Visser &
Morris coming in. Bothma and Chis could probably do with a rest
as well. Would like to see something like
       Morris
       Ibitoye
       Saili
       Tapuai
       Visser
       Catrakilis
       Mulchrone
       Boyce
       Elia
       Collier
       Merrick
       Horwill
       Kunatani
       Wallace
       Luamanu
Crumpton/Ward (assuming Buchanan is still injured)
       Lambert (unless Auterac is fit)
       Swainston
       South
       Dombrandt
       Lewis
       Smith
       R Chisholm

Regarding Buchanan, I walked past him as he was talking to
someone else before the game on Saturday, and I overheard him
saying he hopes to be back training shortly, so I wouldn't
expect to see him for a few weeks at least.

       Fair enough.
Confirmation on the offie that Earle injured himself in the act
of scoring his try - silly boy! Hopefully it's not too serious.

I had a chat with Rob Buchanan before the game and asked how he
was getting on. He reckons he will be able to play some time
around Christmas/New Year, but would need 4 good weeks of rugby
training before then - he hasn't been able to do any rugby since
       his operation.

The Nathan Earle injury was reported along the lines of "injured
in try scoring celebration dive". In reality, we ran with the
ball and just dotted it down while an Agen player was about to
       tackle him.
Hopefully it isn't too serious - but, I would consider resting
him for a week as a squad rotation.
