We gave away terrible tries.
But Kunthingy looks good, Mulchrone outstanding, Saili good to
have back.
Finally feels like we have a squad to perform during England
absences.

That was a surprise, seeing Grenoble give away 6 tries agains
Benetton of all teams, even factoring in they were playing in
Italy. I can't see Grenoble taking it seriously after that.
Benetton will be on a high after that, but playing Agen away
will be harder for them. Agen today definitely tried to play,
but we came with a gameplan and a 23 to handle what they could
throw at us (mostly) and capitalise on the chances we had. Even
Mr P. Try managed to score this week! Agen will be a sterner
test for the Italians, I feel.
So I think we're most likely to top our Pool, & should be
looking to have it all settled before the final round. The
french derby in rounds 3 & 4 should decide if it's Agen or
Benetton to come second.

They've won one more game than we have, but that includes
beating the Southern Kings, while they have yet to face any of
the Irish teams. We should be targeting the games home and away
against them to get at least 8 points.

Great game the size of the crowd was disappointing and totally
devoid of atmosphere at times

If you’re not a season ticket holder why buy a ticket to a 2nd
tier Europe game against poor opposition?
And there were no trains to Twickenham so if you are - why fight
your way in?
9k crowd - seemed pretty good to me - and good atmosphere until
we were 5 tries up at which point it went a little quiet coz it
wasn’t a contest.

Was excited to see the team and we got a great result
Next week against Grenoble I’d suggest something like:
Chisholm (rest Browny)
Ibitoye
Saili
Taps
Visser (maybe Earl but he’s played every match so far)
Catrakalis
Mulchrone
Dombrandt
Chisholm
Luamanu
Horwill (c.)
Merrick
Collier
Elia
Boyce (rest Marler)
Auterac, Crumpton, Ibuanopke (if fit), South, Clifford fit and
Kunatani if not, Saunders, Lang, Walker

Benetton aren’t to be underestimated. They have some bite in the
backs and when it’s their day they are a big big threat. I have
been a fan of and have been following Monte Ioane for some time
now, cousin to the better known Digby Ioane. He seems to be
making a name for himself at Benetton, and his try’s per game
stats are outstanding. Should be a good but feisty game
