Well, it is our own fault.
Had we practised restarts, or line-outs, or scoring against 12
men, we could have won in Paris, and would be at home.
I do not know if the travel - whether to South Africa or just
across Europe, is paid from the central competition funds, or by
the travelling team. I would hope there was at least a
contribution, so those who have the long distance travel -
including the South African teams - are not too disadvantaged.

Sorry used to travel there for work I am glad the team enjoyed
it and I am sure it was well organised. I am afraid I have many
sad/bad memories of the city. Atmosphere, violence used to get
in and out as fast as possible, the same for Jo’burg. I
travelled a lot in Africa but these 2 cities were the very worst
       for racism and crime.

Surely Quinssa are putting on coaches?
Don’t see the point in them existing otherwise.

Just my luck !!! I’m in Cape Town now. If the sharks home/away
had been swapped I would have gone to Durban. Now they draw the
Stormers and I miss out again! Great stadium and plenty of
drinking/eating establishments nearby for those going.

       Absurd tournament. Ridiculous stuff.
Smith & co are going to be doing 6N - ending with away to
Ireland - then the next weekend away to Sarries at the Spurs
stadium, then 6000 miles to Cape Town for a "European" match.
Absolute nonsense to have these sides parachuted into this
tournament to the detriment of the fans who've made it what it
       is today.

Perhaps one solution would be for the southern hemisphere
Heineken Cup teams to base themselves in the northern hemisphere
for the duration of the tournament - at a national level this
works well for the Autumn Internationals.

Agreed, but the tournament format makes it pretty ridiculous to
       start with.

Or maybe the non-European teams shouldn't be in European
       competition :-(
