And a third - casual interest only

I am not a frequent poster here - think I am c 130 in total
since 2018 when new set up began. I noticed that I had climbed
the ranks to become a 'team captain' - or some such - based on
the number of posts. About a month ago I spotted that I had
been demoted to the ranks of 'Jester'. The ignominy! I really
am not that bothered, but out of casual interest, does anyone
know why? Perhaps the new criterion is quality of content??

I am not sure either, Stoopendous. I joined in autumn last year
& have posted c.115 times. I am now "Captain". Perhaps it is the
frequency of posts ?
Can "Admin", "DOK" or anyone shed any light on this ? Thanks.

I don't know the exact hierarchy, but from memory there are two
"tiers" of statuses - one that goes up to captain and then when
you post beyond those it goes through a new set of statuses,
ending (as far as I know) with Lions Captain. I think Jester is
a rung on the second ladder.
It's not particularly intuitive, but then it's only a bit of
fun.

The other question is -
Why haven't I earned my Second year Anniversary, Third year
Anniversary badge and Fourth year Anniversary badges?
(I'm sure you all take great interest in the badges you earn on
the board :-) )

I think that’s right. The stars are like insignia on an
officer’s epaulette. A colonel may have fewer pips (in our case
stars) than a captain but is still more senior.
