Two questions

Is it right that Racing will have to play Leinster next week and
we have SA Sharks at home? Does progression depend upon the
results of those two games? How likely are Leinster to field a
reserve team given that they are already qualified (not saying
that Leinster A could not beat Racing btw)? What do we have to
do to be sure of knockout slot - or is it dependent entirely
upon how all the results fall?
Q2: Irish got two reds over the w/e - will this affect their
team selection ahead of our Prem game do we think? Or are the
two competitions viewed as entirely separate with cards imposed
in one of no relevance to the other?

1. Yes, Racing are away to Leinster. Leinster are already
qualified for the R16 & certain to get a home game barring some
crazy results. Will they put out a second string side? I doubt
it. Their senior players will want to get match time ahead of
the 6 Nations to push their case for selection.
2. I think the red cards (assuming they lead to bans) will cover
the Prem game, just as Farrell's Premiership red card ban
covered the EPCR games.

Agreed. A ban in one rugby competition will cover all
competitions. I believe (and happy to be corrected on this) that
the round ball game can only ban players for that competition,
so a ban in the Premier League will still allow the player to
play in, for example, the FA Cup.

Ronaldo's FA ban applied to his first game for his new Saudi
team, but maybe because that is a general FA ban, rather than
specific to a particular competition.
