Hopefully we might see our refunds soon, sadly my guests can’t
make new date.

Im sure I've had an email, but if I haven't asked for a refund,
do we just keep our original tickets?

So are they offering to move you?
Back to another conversation on another thread that takes the
max attendance and therefore revenue right down.
Could be a very tough year.

I was told refunds would be processed towards the end of the
month.
Following the upper tier being shut as I expected (and likely
for the Bath game) I doubt these fixtures probably will be even
worth it financially.

I got another email confirming my "purchase " of a middle tier
seat.

I think that they still make money on the games.
Assume that the reduced capacity takes it down to around 55,000
seats.
For a game at the Stoop, they only sell around 5,000 seats. The
rest are taken by members.
So, for the Big Stoop, this translates to around 45,000 seats
for sale after the members are allocated. (i.e. 9 x the normal
ticket revenue).
Hopefully, we do still make enough on these 2 big games to help
the club finances. Some of the reports about reducing to a 10
club league are quite concerning. Reducing the number of clubs
would mean that there would only be 9 home games per season. If
2 of these games are at the Big Stoop, then I think that a lot
of people (me included) would have to seriously consider whether
the membership was worthwhile.
For me, as a member of both Richmond and Quins, I would probably
just go to the 2 games at the Big Stoop and I would go to more
Richmond games at the Athletic Ground.

A quick check reveals only 5 matches have been played on a
Saturday and not always at 3pm. Travelling from Somerset is a no
no on Friday nights and Sundays which is a school night. I am
thinking long and hard.

Yeah if we go to a 10 team Prem, and the club needs to keep two
games across the road to make the money..there's going to have
to be some bigger benefit to membership than just my seat to
keep it going.
On the point of the cash from BG14 -- presumably everyone who's
being moved down a tier isn't being asked to shell out any more
money? So those 50k aren't all paying what they would have
expected to raise even from those seats originally (eg you pay
for top tier and end up in middle tier).
GOSH...and one more update. Just checked the ticket site --
they've clearly updated now based on all returns/refunds. So
with the top tier shut (presumably having allocated seats to all
those who can still attend) there are a LOT of seats available.
Many middle tier blocks are half empty.
