We are on a terrible run. Despite that we are still 3rd. We have
players to come back which will make a big difference. Teams
around us also not setting the world alight. While it's a bit
doom and gloom currently, we are still well in the top 4 fight.
We know we have it in us to turn it around, just need to get
some confidence/players back and then work on the issues

What a dire game.
A really poorly executed kicking game, and just too predictable
on the rare occasions we did have ball in hand.
We're seriously lacking up front, and overly reliant on Dommers,
Andre or Wilco to give us any go forward.
Woeful kicking from hand from Tommy today, yet Edwards comes on
and somehow manages to trump him.
Did the TMO/Barnes look at the Tuilagi hit on Tommy? What was
the mitigation/reasoning given? From the big screen replays it
looked direct to the head with force and whilst Tommy's head was
slightly lower as he was stretching to regather, he didn't seem
to dip particularly low.

Barnes decided that because Allan was low when he was smashed in
the face that it was just a rugby incident.

I always forget England players are allowed free head shots
before the 6N. Silly me.

We are on a slippery downward slope and I can't see us
recovering -hate to be negative but just can't see any sparks
recently - we took tired and lacking confidence 😕

He was. That is not the sole determining factor in whether it
was foul play, though.

If nothing else Manu hit him before he reached the ball, so
at.least a penalty for an early tackle. Also I thought any hit
to the head with force is sanctionable. Apparently not if you're
an England player.

The Tuilagi incident was weird. He wasn't really tackling or
shoulder charging Allan, he was just 'there' for some reason...
