For the Irish away, if we have Marler, Evans and evans back I
think it would make a lot of difference.
Im not sure about Lukes injury, but for me he replaces Joe in
the centre all day long. Since his announcement he hasn't looked
half the player he was for us, and I think we need to mix it up
a bit. Beard for Bassett possibly also

Apologies for the clickbait-y account, but here's Manu's hit on
       Twitter:
  HTML https://twitter.com/RugbyLAD7/status/1612123552076931075
Ends up smashing him in the head with his shoulder, with his
right arm curled and hitting him in the chest instead of
wrapping. Just insane that Barnes thought it was fine.

the most for sure out of the three especially with how shambolic
they’ve been for the majority of the season.

Lewies, Evans, Kenningham, Chisholm, Steele, Smith, Lynagh,
Northmore, Green. Arguable all these players get into our 23 so
not sure we can be too surprised.
       >
       > The frustrating thing is we aren’t adapting and I think our
backline has quietly been awful and saying Smith is out isn’t a
good enough excuse. I’m not entirely sure what Bassett brings
and think it is worth giving Beard a start. Allen has looked
pretty disinterested since his departure was announced.
       >
       > What baffled me about the Tuilagi instance was that Barnes
just immediately made up his mind that there was no foul play. I
thought head contact was an immediate pen and a card, then they
work back using the mitigation factors. That’s even before we
consider the arm being tucked and it not being a proper attempt
at a tackle. What summed up the officials performance was the AR
missing clearly hands in the ruck in the last 5 minutes which
       was clear as day.

Cares deliberate knock on immediately before Sale's 4th try
(which should have been carded) and his deliberate childish kick
out at du Preez also missed

Players often don't get carded if the try is scored anyway, and
the "kick" was a raising of the foot that missed.
Congrats to your team for a fine performance.

That should have been a Red Card ! Tommy was not in possession
of the ball and there was shoulder to head connection with
force. Manu should be cited for that; no way is it a "rugby
incident". Good to hear that Tommy seems to be ok.

I think the "possession of the ball" thing might be a bit
misleading, he was previously in possession and attempting to
regather, which makes him a valid target. Add the fact that he
was on his knees and it's likely not to be a red despite the
       high level of danger.
What it isn't is a "rugby incident" and play on, Wayne...

WB loves to make his own decision and then stick with it,
without a check - mind you, what did the TMO say in commentary
as surely they should have called for an on screen check ?

This could come back to bite England if it is cited, which I
think it needs if only to clear the air, where if dealt with at
the time, say red mitigated to yellow, cannot happen. IMHO it
was reckless but with the drop a yellow reasonable.

I may be misremembering but I thought there were cases of
yellows still being cited (and possibly ungraded to reds in
       retrospect).

Absolutely. Anything can be cited but reds get an automatic
       hearing, AFAIK.
