Even if David grounded it directly under the posts, Edwards
would probably still have conspired to miss the conversion.
I thought Nick David was our standout player today. Very solid
under the high ball, good defence and took his chance nicely
       when it for the try.

Nice try saving "no arms" tackle too! 😁

Am I mistaken or was Manu laughing when they replayed his
       shoulder hit to Tommy's head?

I'm not sure why the referees are using this 'get the game
moving' directive to ignore serious foul play, but hopefully it
       will sort itself out sharpish.

If we are serious about getting anything from LI/Glaws, we need
to try and see who’s about on the market for replacing at least
Lewies if Lamb isn’t going to be back soon.
With JC playing for LS, he needs to be starting sooner rather
than later, as a 60% James is better than White playing his
socks off. Hopefully Evans is back by then, but I wouldn’t risk
him in the cup games as frankly they are a waste of time for us
for progressing believing we can win it and and only expose us
       to higher chances of injuries.
Thanks to the woeful updates by the club, I have no idea how far
off Louis is, but we need him back pronto. Bassett has been OK,
but he hasn’t brought with him his Wasps scoring ability.

You don’t actually then just get to say that view (which others

Apologies, I didn't realise me suggesting to MQ that we bin the
idea it was a lucky try was insulting to you. My bad.

It's what was said but it doesn't actually make any sense.
There's no concept in the laws for it not being foul play just
because Tommy was on his knees. It must still be a legal attempt
       to make a tackle.

Just watched replay on TV after being at game today,
unfortunately the result was the same, intent from Quins was
great but Sale are a class team , I feel unless 5 or 6 players
get back from injury after the champions cup fixtures we will be
lucky to be in the top 4, I think Sale v cheats might be the
final with hopefully Sale winning, ending on a positive Dayglow
wasn’t involved in the BT commentary.

One player not mentioned, but quietly had a good game was Finn
Baxter. Apart from the first 2 scrums he held Nick Schonert at
bay and was good in the loose. Not yet 20 and with good stats in
his dozen or so games, he is developing nicely. If & when Joe
decides to retire, I am in no doubt he will be ready for us. I
just hope he doesn't follow Hugh Tizard at the dawn of what
       looks a highly promising career.

So frustrating and it is a crazy that after 3 losses on the
bounce we are still third. Bristol loss is the one that hurts
the most for sure out of the three especially with how shambolic
they’ve been for the majority of the season.
Considering we were missing Marler, Head, Collier, Dino, Lewies,
Evans, Kenningham, Chisholm, Steele, Smith, Lynagh, Northmore,
Green. Arguable all these players get into our 23 so not sure we
       can be too surprised.
The frustrating thing is we aren’t adapting and I think our
backline has quietly been awful and saying Smith is out isn’t a
good enough excuse. I’m not entirely sure what Bassett brings
and think it is worth giving Beard a start. Allen has looked
pretty disinterested since his departure was announced.
What baffled me about the Tuilagi instance was that Barnes just
immediately made up his mind that there was no foul play. I
thought head contact was an immediate pen and a card, then they
work back using the mitigation factors. That’s even before we
consider the arm being tucked and it not being a proper attempt
at a tackle. What summed up the officials performance was the AR
missing clearly hands in the ruck in the last 5 minutes which
       was clear as day.
