Good news indeed. It's not a coincidence our huge dip in rugby
ability has coincided with Marcus being out the team. Hopefully
he can stay injury free for the cup games as will need him for
our premiership run in firing on all cylinders. Hopefully
Borthwick thinks he needs more game time and overlooks him for
the 6n (being selfish).

If Marcus needs game time, Ford certainly does.

Will be stunned if Ford gets a call even with the Tigers bias.
I have a feeling though he may sprint a few surprises. Wouldn’t
be surprised if Faz is at 10, with Dan Kelly and Olly Lawrence
involved

Today’s Times suggest otherwise. And he was on the recent get
together even though he couldn’t take part.
I doubt Ford’ll play for England v Scotland but I fear he may do
at some point in the 6N.

I'm actually not too fussed if Marcus misses out as I'd rather
he spent time back with us. Plus, our chances of winning the WC
haven't improved just because we've changed coach so when the
post WC clear out happens, Marcus takes us forwards to winning
in 2027.

Under the agreement between PRL and RFU, there's limits to the
number of changes that Borthwick can make to the existing
expanded England Squad. I think the deal is that the England
Coach can change up to 7 players per selection period (with some
allowances made for players currently in the group who are
injured), so we're not going to see everything ripped up & a
brand new squad assembled.
