This is the problem for me too and why we originally have up our
season tickets. With the ending of the first COVID season where
we missed a chunk of the season, then the uncertainty, then the
number of Friday night & Sunday fixtures. It just isn't a great
proposition with 2 kids and a 2-3 hour round trip.

What are the odds of that remaining as a Saturday fixture?

To be fair the club have always made clear their preference for
Saturday 3pm . Even offering to give up being televised if this
could happen. This was turned down.

That was back in the Mark Evans period if I remember rightly.
I'm not sure I've heard such a statement recently. They really
seem to like the "Friday Night Lights" thing these days. I think
that ME's family friendly thing is disappearing, or has
       disappeared.

No, it was a couple of seasons back. and Laurie D has always
said they want Saturdays for preference.

This season has been a real mission with the fixtures, Sundays
and the obligatory Twickenham train station being next to
       useless so having to drive.

We try to do two home and two away games a season, one of each
       before Christmas and one after.
As we have to travel (and stay in Twickenham is we want a drink)
anything other than a Saturday is a problem. This season has
definitely been a challenge and unless the Newcastle game is on
a Saturday then it will likely be three away and just one at
       home this year.
