Talking of Fin Smith, maybe if Marcus is out for longer than
expected we could give Fin Baxter a run at out half.

I really don't understand this. If Joe made some random comment
about someone's mother that is repeated thousands of times every
weekend across the land what is the issue? Are people suggesting
he researches the status of the opposing players family members
for maximum effect? I wish all involved well......

Should be a non-story this. Unfortunately circumstances in his
life seemed to align with a sledge, but Jake H needs to learn to

Did he actually know Heenans Mum was in hospital , it’s a run of

When I was at school, I often heard comments regarding my mum
and a door knob and cartwheels, or, said in a Southern accent
account my mum being a wh.... And, for context, my mother sadly
passed away while I was at school.
All I would say is grow a spine, move on, don't be a cry baby.
Not saying that what Joe said was right. But, I saved my
grumpiness did actual issues. Eg when a female friend was being
knocked around. That was when I stepped in. I mean really, who
cares about a'mum'joke

So if nobody cares, what was Joe hoping to achieve?
For clarity, I’m not suggesting that Marler knew the situation
with Heenan’s mother but why make any comment if he wasn’t
hoping for a reaction?

It seems maybe he won't be cited.
If the club hasn't referred it to the citing commissioner in 12
hours following the match, then the commissioner alone has 24
hours from the conclusion of the match to get the ball rolling,
so unless he has submitted it very last knockings yesterday it
seems it's not been escalated. Maybe is the key word though
