Ugo is worse.

I got the impression he was very fond of Ibitoye. Certainly made
that clear in commentary.

MQ is still correct though.
Mixed bag today. Badly let down by the LO, cost us the game
imho. Walker should have been off. At the same time he has been
missed when not available this season.
Weigh up with comments about Matson being clueless etc, they
lose there effect when it's constant negative drivel that some
revel in.
Halfway through the season (almost). Some bad, some good.
Sitting in third and some influential players due to return. I
can get on board with the sensible criticism, but some is ott
and a bit silly imho (but each to their own of course).

Technically that should've been a penalty try at the end - you
can't just dive off your feet and strip the ball from a player -
but those are never penalised near the try line. Shame though,
it was a much better second half.
Tedious thread to read though.

unless we can fix it quickly. That was an underpowered Bristol
team missing Sinckler, Genge, Piatau, Sheedy etc and we still
couldn't put them away. Big opportunity missed given results at
the weekend.

We are missing players as well, Green,Lynagh, Lewies,
Kenningham, Collier and WEV now as well we played that without a
proper 7

Don’t have a problem with Matson and happy with position in the
table but there is no hiding from the facts that Brizz were
under strength and we have been poor for the last 4 or 5 games.
The attacking lineout is dreadful regardless of hooker and
jumpers so the coaches have to take some of the blame for that.
The Cell C Sharks have shown everyone how to take it apart and
we haven’t found a response.

Big Joe was very poor today. Lots of ‘get me on tv’ moments but
utterly disinterested today. Early on in the game just watching
as we lost a ruck to more keen opposition. Love the guy, but not
right today.

Far too many missed opportunities. Lineout was awful. Walker
should have been hooked sooner.
You have to credit Bristol for their defence
No idea what the laws are on the estherhuizen no try

True. And Marcus of course. Just felt that on paper we still had
the stronger looking XV. And the scrum backed that up which is
why the lineout was so frustrating.

I felt Marler was more of a hindrance today. He is playing like
someone who isn’t too fussed
