I went for a trundle round the shop yesterday and saw that the
shirts had been reduced from £70 to £56. They were then giving
you a further 10% off if you signed up to the Castore
newsletter, so I got a home shirt for me and an away shirt for
my lad for £50.40 each.
In terms of quality, they seem much, much nicer than the Adidas
ones! It feels much nicer against the skin, like my old O'neil
(sp?) one, rather than the hair shirt scratchiness of the bright
green Adidas away strip, which I do otherwise like.
They also have a much, much wider spread of sizing than Adidas.
My fairly ripped, gym and rugby obsessed 14yr old has a decent
amount of growing space in an adult M, whilst I, his way older,
much better insulated father with equal fondness for gym and
pizza have plenty of comfort space in a 4XL, with added flattery
coming from the fact that the tightest place on the shirt is
over the biceps! [emoji14] There are still another 3 larger
sizes as well, so truly something for everyone!!!
The only downside I've experienced so far is that when I decided
to go and take advantage of the WELCOME15 discount code they
sent me to get an away shirt of my own, the website wouldn't
accept it. I've emailed them to find out what's going on with
that.
Overall, better in every way than Adidas for me.

They have today emailed me to say "the carrier must have lost
it." In fairness (given that it's a Christmas jumper) they
didn't try to send me another one, they just offered to refund
my money. Overall a pretty bad experience, though.
